Given the Corona pandemic, Universities were forced to go online and had to resort to other methods to proctor their students. During one of our Academic Committee meetings, the issue of proctoring and the consequences that it has on the students of our members came up. We therefore dedicated multiple meetings to this issue during which we analysed the situation and its retributions. The Academic Committee, took on the initiative to raise awareness about the issues that proctoring causes, so with research for factual evidence and with testimonials, we wrote the Proctoring open letter that you are about to read.

We are also writing a formal letter that will be sent to the management teams of the member University Colleges and the Dean network, to hopefully implement change.

We thank you for taking a look at our hard work.

If you have any questions or would like to share your experience on proctoring, feel free to reach out to us via the academic committee email.
