Who is the Secretary?
The Secretary of the Executive Board (EB) is the main point of contact for internal communications. The secretary is the one responsible for reaching out to the members and connecting with the students. Not just direct communication but also communication deemed to last, which includes taking minutes at meetings and General Assemblies (GAs). These times hold key moments of communication and decision making and it is the job of the secretary to make sure that these moments are properly preserved in writing. Thus, the day-to-day tasks of the secretary consist of taking minutes at meetings and GAs, taking care of the emails and handling the UCSRN social media accounts. Outside of this the secretary can take up any personal projects that fit within the UCSRN brand which leaves flexibility to take on lots of exciting projects!
