The Academic Committee (AcCo) consists of 10 representatives, one for each University College. Our weekly meetings are a platform to foster collaboration between our student associations, whether it is helping and discussing our mutual struggles, or planning academic events on regional or national level. Hey, I’m Kel Schoenmakers. I’m UCR’s external officer, making me its UCSRN representative, as well as a Council representative. I am also the Treasurer of the Academic Committee. I’m currently studying a bunch of different things, aiming for an interdepartmental major in Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences. I hope to have a productive board year with the lovely people in the UCSRN Academic Committee!

Hi everyone, my name is Paul. I am the AcCo member representing EUC, where I am also part of the student affairs council. I major in philosophy and political economics. UC’s are generally quite small and tight-knit communities, which is what makes them so enjoyable and academically fulfilling. Personally, I think UCSRN serves the purpose of complementing this small-scale education with some larger projects, as well as creating more Netherlands-wide opportunities for student, which I am excited to work towards realising more and more of this year!
